  John Matthews Brake married Elizabeth Blanchard, daughter of William and Elizabeth. (We know this from notes to the will of Joseph Blanchard, Elizabeth's brother). John was one of Ralph and Jane's older child ren...born in Burgeo I believe. He was a widower at the time of Feild's visit.
