Entry No. 213 - Marriage solemnized in the School Chapel, Norris's Point in the Diocese of Newfoundland, December 3, 1898, William HOPKINS, age 26, bachelor and fisherman of Norris Point, son of Carbot HOPKINS, carpenter and Eliza KENNEDY, age 34, spinster of Gad's Harbour, daughter of Samuel KENNEDY. Married in the aforesaid School Chapel according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England, by me Charles W. HOLLANDS (Priest). This marriage was solemnized between us: William HOPKINS & her mark of X Eliza KENNEDY. In the presence of us: John Carbot BUGDEN, Harriet HUMBER.
