Her body was interred after June 2, 1860 at Rocky Harbour, Bonne Bay, District of St. Barbe, Newfoundland. Tombstone Inscription: Pheabe DECKER consort of James, died June 2, 1860, age 21 years. Phoebe DECKER, I do not know if she is the daughter of Jesse & Sophia DECKER, but she can only be the daughter of Jesse or his brother James. She is buried in the cemetery in the area of Jesse's family and not James DECKER's. The tombstone reads Pheabe DECKER consort of James, if it was his child the tombstone would read Pheobe daughter of James & Elizabeth DECKER.
