Marriage solemnized in the School Chapel at Woody Point, Bonne Bay, in the Mission of Bay of Islands in the Diocese of Newfoundland, November 22, 1882, Jacob STICKLAND, age 27, bachelor and fisherman of Woody Point, son of John STICKLAND, fisherman and Rachel AYRE, age 23 spinster of Woody Point, daughter of Thomas AYRE, fisherman. Married in the Woody Point School Chapel according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England, By me Charles William HOLLANDS. This marriage was solemnized between us: Jacob STICKLAND & the mark of X Rachel AYRE.
