    • John was born August 25, 1837 at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada. John died December 10, 1919 at Daniel's Harbour, District of St. Barbe, Newfoundland, at age 82. His father was supposed to have died at sea of brain fever. His mother then remarried to a DONNELLY and had another son who became a Roman Catholic priest.
