  Obiturarty. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Earl Peter Penney announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Thursday March 1, 2012 at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Alexander (Elizabeth) of Pasadena, NL, Thomas (Sharon) of Summerside, NL, Roderick (Sherry) of Summerside, NL, David (Patti) of Summerside, NL, Boyd (Susan) of Summerside, NL, Keith (Dawn) of Curling, NL, daughters Olive (Larry) Strickland of Summerside, NL, Helene Penney- Lewis of Hughes Brook, NL, Dorothy (Allan) Noseworthy of Summerside, NL, Isabel of Summerside, NL, Kay of Summerside, NL, 17 Grandchildren Roger, Patricia, Dwayne, Shara, Miranda, Michael, Adam, Justin, Simone, Nigel, Sasha, Kathleen, Shawn, Shannon, Noah, Emily, Sarah, 6 great Grandchildren Lucas, Evan, Victor, Anatasia, Jasper, Lexie, sister Winifred Maynard of Meadows, NL, brother-in-law Alexander White of Corner Brook, NL, sister-in-law Olive Penney of Summerside, NL, also a large number of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Rosanna (2006), parents Thomas & Dora Penney, Brother Leslie, Sisters Dorothy and Lenora, and son-in-law Elvis Lewis. Visitation will take place at Bethany United Church, Summerside on Saturday March 3, 2012 from the hours of 7-9 P.M… Cremation to follow, and inurnment to take placed at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bethany United Church Fund.
