Entry No. 144 - Marriage solemnized in the Church of the Epiphany, Bonne Bay in the Diocese of Newfoundland, October 25, 1893, Winton Hugh BARKHOUSE, age 26, bachelor and tinsmith of Cow Head, son of Jacob BARKHOUSE, cooper and Amelia Jane PAYNE, age 33, spinster of Cow Head, daughter of John PAYNE, fisherman. Married in the aforesaid Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England, By me Charles W. HOLLANDS (Priest). This marriage was solemnized between us: Winton Hugh BARKHOUSE & Amelia Jane PAYN. In the presence of us: Matthew ROBERTS, her mark of X Susannah YOUNG. Winton was born 1866 at Nova Scotia, Canada. Winton was the son of Jacob BARKHOUSE and Elizabeth UNKNOWN. Winton died at an unknown location, at age unknown.
