      Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday, December 27th, 2006 with his loving family at his bedside, Maxwell Herbert Wheeler, loving husband and devoted friend of 65 years to Violet (nee Murphy), children: Maxine (Alvin) Loder, Sherman (Rosiland) of Summerside, Douglas (Patsy), Fort McMurray, Alb., Jocelyn Hamelin, Peers, Alb., Audrey Charron (Steve), Earl Gray, SK., grandchildren: Peggy, Craig, Paul, Kim, David, Mark, Dale, Adr ian, Cathy, Nicole, Sheri, Nadine, Christopher, Ryan, Grant, Veronica and Andrew, special friend Albert Janes and a large number of great-grandchildren, brother Frank, sisters: Augustus Ruth and Jean Kendell, sisters and brothers-in-law: John (No rma) Murphy, Jim (Theresa) Murphy, Earl (Laura) Murphy, Gladys (Lemual) Sheppard, Lottie (Randy) Janes, Ruby Harrison, Lew Ruth, Onea Wheeler and Elsie Wheeler, daughters-in-law: Ruby Wheeler Norman and Karen (Andy) Loder. As well as a large circ le of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Myra and John, sons Utley and Brian, brothers Murdock, Percy, Horace and Albert, sister Dorothy. Friends may visit St. Paul's Anglican Church, Summerside on Thu rsday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be mad e to St. Paul's Anglican Church Memorial Fund or to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca
