Joseph, a fisherman, probably from Conception Bay, arrived in Bonne Bay by 1869, the year of his marriage to Frances PAYNE (1847 - 1909). They settled at Winter House Brook and remained there the rest of their lives. The LUNDRIGAN surname remained in Bonne Bay until around 1950, over 80 years.

James Matthews [1516], son of John Matthews [4299] and Elizabeth ? [1515], was born about 1843 in Burgo, Newfoundland and died in 1930 in Trout River, Newfoundland aged about 87.
James married Matilda Payne [1517] [MRIN: 577] on 4 Dec 1876 by A Layman @ Bonne Bay, Nl.

On July 11, 1990 I had visited the old Anglican Cemetery at Woody Point, where I found the broken Headstone of Philip buried beneath the top soil, unable to read the entire inscription he died on 16 June 1873.
