Entry No. 4 - Abraham son of Levi HOUSE, bachelor of Bonne Bay, aged 25 years and Frances d. of William YOUNG, spinster of Bonne Bay, aged 18 years were married in Bonne Bay according to the order of the United Church of England and Ireland this eleventh day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy one by me Ulric RULE. This marriage was solemnized between us; his mark X Abraham HOUSE and her mark X Frances YOUNG. In the presence of us; his mark X Mark ROBERTS, his mark X Solomon WILTON.

He married «b»Elizabeth Ann«/b» «b»MAJOR«/b» March 31, 1888 at Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. Elizabeth Ann MAJOR, spinster age 23 of the Bonne Bay Parish, married Abraham HOUSE, widower seaman age 40, of the St of Belle Isle Parish. Married by Rev Charles LENCH. Witnesses Aaron and Susanna FORSEY.

Conflicting evidence states that Abraham was born 1847 at an unknown location. He was born after June 11, 1847 and before June 11, 1848, due to being age 40 years at the time of his marriage March 31, 1888.

Abraham married Young, Frances on 11 Jun 1871 in Bonne Bay, District of St. Barbe, Newfoundland. Frances (daughter of Young, William and Caines, Deborah) was born about 1852 in St. John's Island, Distric of St. Barbe, Newsfoundland; died about 1882 in Birchy Head, Bonne Bay, Newfoundland. Fanny was born 1852 at St. John's Island, District of St. Barbe, Newfoundland. She was born after June 11, 1852 and before June 11, 1853, due to being age 18 years at the time of her marriage June 11, 1871. Fanny was the daughter of William YOUNG and Deborah CAINES.

Fanny died 1882 at Birchy Head, Bonne Bay, District of St. Barbe, Newfoundland, at age 30. Her body was interred January 22, 1882 at Birchy Head, Bonne Bay, District of St. Barbe, Newfoundland

Mary died March 30, 1862 at Cow Head, District of St. Barbe, Newfoundland, at age 69. Her body was interred after March 30, 1862 at Cow Head, District of St. Barbe, Newfoundland. Mary has a tombstone in a feild at Cow Head along with two other graves without markers, it reads Mary PAYNE died March 30, 1862 age 69 years. Mary Brooks (daughter of Robert Brooks and Mary (Park) Brooks) was born 1793 in Born with Indian name, She went to England and came back with the name Brooks, and died March 30, 1862 in Cow Head, NL, Canada. She married Charles Payne on 1810.
